What agroforestry includes

Domestic forests, agroforests, permaculture, forest gardens, fruit forests, syntropic forests, meadow orchards, meadow woods, food gardens, pollard parks, Creole gardens, multi-storey gardens, hedgerows, oases, regenerative agriculture, etc.

Common principles and rules

Capture maximum solar energy on several levels of wild and cultivated plants, woody, vines, lianas or herbaceous.

Promote diversity, manage and support plants.

Leave as much elementary litter on the ground as possible to build and maintain soil fertility.

Viticulture Technical Support Unit

The fertile tendril, Regenerative Viticulture: Technical support unit dedicated to the vine for 100 years The beautiful vine protects the environment, it is productive, it creates biodiversity, stores carbon, without pesticides, it produces healthy and loyal wine, it produces value and living landscapes, happy farmers and fertile soils. A consulting unit, technical support, force of proposal for the implementation of innovative practices in plant engineering and architecture, measurement of results, animation, training, organization of events, and monitoring of experiments and innovations. Increase humus levels in all agricultural soils to improve their fertility through plant covers and agroforestry and knowledge of the ecological, architectural and physiological mechanisms of plants for better fruits and fewer diseases. Water resources, soil fertility, reduction of inputs and tillage, phytosanitary control, climate change, biodiversity... Plant covers and trees associated with vines provide a cross-cutting response to agronomic and environmental issues. Winegrowers have been interested in these agroecological approaches for some time now and are making progress on their estates thanks to these innovative techniques that use agronomy to produce, prevent and protect... A project led by Marceau Bourdarias, Hervé Covès, Konrad Schreiber, Alain Canet and Marc-André Sélosse.

Agroecology is the foundation of resilient, inspiring and efficient viticulture. The vine is a vine that has evolved with the trees: Agroecological viticulture with agroforestry as its pillar is based on technical practices that reproduce the natural processes of evolution, diversity, exchanges and adaptation. Working without the sense of life and nature rather than trying to supplant it. It is an eco-logical viticulture that builds and maintains the links between natural processes and culture. This agroecology takes advantage of the complexity and richness of the diversity of terroirs, co-creation of a bio-climatic, mineral and geographical naturalness enhanced by the dynamic expression of life. Plants build the soils! They remain permanently covered, protective, nourishing and habitat of a life ultimately building an economical and virtuous self-fertility. The vine is resilient, managed with knowledge of its naturalness, structure of its capacity to protect itself and to connect with natural regulation processes. The very structure of the plots is wooded and diversified, protective of the harshness of the climate, source of balance and fertility for a domesticated vine. Produce sufficient, healthy grapes, reflections of the expression of the terroirs. Integrate viticulture into a continuum of evolution of spaces and living species. The winegrower has a place as a stimulator of the processes of fertility and regulation of the living. Agroecology with agroforestry as a pillar restores its letters of nobility to the profession of winegrower, agricultural expert, ecologist and humanist. Making wine means sharing the fertility of one's land, putting biodiversity at the heart of productivity. Keywords: autonomy, regeneration, resilience, productivity, living soils, agroforestry, plant covers, agroforestry, biodiversity, climate, landscape, diversification, fertility.
